Seraphynx follows the recent fan/fiction trend but has a unique twist. Taking biblical accounts, adding a little flare and creative license made for a real interesting story. I am not sure if it was just the copy I received but their appeared to be a number of errors where where names without context where mixed in and a few grammatical errors were made. There were times when I was curious if the correct version of the draft was uploaded to the internet. However, the few errors aside, the story was gripping and did keep me entertained. There were a lot of surprise twists that kept me wanting to figure out more of the relationships between the characters. All in all it was a good read. I am familiar with some particulars of the authors life and am curious how the story reads from the perspective of another.Product details

Sometimes fantasy can get a little repetitive in plot and themes. This book has a unique plot, combining elements of mythology and tradition while creating real scenes of humanity. I gave this four stars because some of the tangled relationships where borderline inappropriate, and I found it somewhat distasteful. A good read, but not appropriate for younger audiences. It ended obviously with room for a second or third sequel.
